Dr. S. Kwame Dance, Psy.D., MBA is a doctor of clinical psychology, educator, and advocate for mental health equity based in Greater Boston. He specializes in psychological assessment and individual, family, and couples therapy, with a deep commitment to culturally responsive care. His work spans community clinics, schools, and training settings, always centering accessibility and the unique needs of each client.

Dr. Dance is the founder of Mental Health ACCESS, the nation's first paid mental health career pipeline program for Black high school students, and co-founder of 2B-EPIC, an internship program focused on early psychosis intervention and career development for Black and Latinx students. Together, these programs have served over 200 youth and continue to grow across Massachusetts.

He also helped develop a free community mental health clinic and training center through the Cambridge Community Center and serves as adjunct clinical faculty at William James College, his doctoral alma mater. Dr. Dance completed advanced clinical training at both Boston Medical Center’s Center for Multicultural Training in Psychology and Harvard Medical School’s Department of Psychiatry.

A proud native of Cambridge, MA, and a member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., Dr. Dance brings together clinical expertise, lived experience, and systems-level thinking to help transform mental health access and representation. He also holds an MBA, which informs his consulting work with nonprofits, schools, and health systems seeking to build more inclusive and effective mental health programs.
